- Research papers, technical notes, state-of-the art papers and reports on damaging earthquakes which have not been previously published or offered for publication elsewhere are considered for publication in the ISET Journal of Earthquake Technology. Discussions on any paper previously published in the Journal are also considered for publication. Articles submitted to the Journal should be original and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere at the same time.
- The PDF file of the manuscript should be submitted to the Editor electronically on journal editor email ID at [email protected] for possible publication of an article in the Journal. The submission may please be copied to [email protected] as well as [email protected]
- Following are specific requirements with regard to articles and formats:
i. Paper length: The length of a paper should be restricted to 10000 words maximum
ii. Headings and Subheadings: Headings should be in bold uppercase and numbered. Sub-headings should be in bold title case and should also be numbered.
iii. Figures and Tables: These should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and should be titled. Figure captions should be given on a separate sheet also.
iv. Photographs, illustrations: Good glossy bromide prints photographs & illustrations must accompany the manuscript and be attached to the manuscript pages separately with their appearance figure number & titles.
v. References: These should be listed at the end of the text in order of their appearance in text of paper. These should be cited in the text by simply giving its serial number in the list of reference in parenthesis for example [3]. In case of more than two references related to same subject, its numbers be given by putting comma in between 2 numbers in the same parenthesis, e.g. [3, 5]. References are to be listed in the following format only:

vii. Abstract: This should not exceed 150 words and should contain accurate representation of the substance of the article. It should be followed by a list of 3 to 5 key words.
viii. Units: All quantities should be in SI units. Other units may be enclosed in parentheses after the SI units, if necessary.
- Preparation for Publication: Once accepted for publication, the final version of the article will be sent to the author(s) for proof checking, which should be returned to the Editor within 15 days. The author(s) should ensure that it is complete with no grammatical or spelling errors. The author(s) have to sign copyrights transfer also, on the format, to be supplied by Editor to the corresponding author, which he will send along with checked proof of the paper.
